Hitchhiker Brewing is looking for a dedicated Head Brewer to join our squad. We are seeking an individual with a strong work ethic, good vibes and high attention to detail in a fast-paced work environment.

Job responsibilities, including but not limited to

• Direct management and leading of our Brewing Team
• Creation and management of production schedule
• Ordering materials
• Inventory Management
• Assist in recipe formulation and revisions for new and existing beers
• Malt handling and wort production
• Fermentation Management
• Yeast Management
• Ingredient integration ie Dry Hopping
• Cellar operations including racking and carbonation
• Ability to keep all work areas you work in clean
• Participate in regular deep cleaning of our production areas
• Record Keeping in all aspects of brewery operations
• Packaging both in kegs and cans
• Participation in events both on and off-site
• Commitment to quality and understanding that there is always room for improvement
• Ability to adhere to OSHA and FDA regulations
• All applicants should be willing and able to assist wherever necessary to help our growing operation run as smoothly as possible.

Physical Requirements 

• Lift 60 + lbs on a regular basis
• Ability to work in hot/cold/wet environments that require kneeling, crawling, twisting, bending, pushing, and lifting.
• Stand for the duration of an 8+ hour shift
• Use of a ladder

General Requirements

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Drive, and Brewing Software
